You have to be under a rock to not be using Google Adsense you have a website or blog. It is a great way to change your site into a revenue generating asset. The basic principle is ads
are place on your site based on the keywords within the meta tags and also the content within your website or blog. What if we want to suggest to the Google robot what content or keywords to focus on in our site? Well there is a way, it is called section targeting. Section Targeting is basically special HTML codes to emphasize or de-emphisize parts of your blog or site.
The Code commands are as follows:
- <!–– google_ad_section_start ––> Starts the section to Emphasize.
- <!– google_ad_section_end –>Ends the emphasize section.
- <!– google_ad_section_start(weight=ignore) –> tells google to ignore the follow content and of course you end that section with <!– google_ad_section_end –>
You can also have multiple sections with the above code inserted so don’t be afraid to experiment with the codes. The results may take a week or two for the robots to full index the code but you should see the difference by that time.
For Wordpress users there is a plugin that you can install to help you with this process called Target Adsense, click on the link to install.
